COLLECTION: "Springtime in Tribeca" 60" x 60" Acrylic & Oil on Wood Panel. Private Collection, Ft. Worth, Texas

This collection was inspired by a long walk in Tribeca on a crisp afternooon in March. I saw kids in colored hoodies playing basketball in front of a huge street mural. A field of red and pink tulips behind me, a crisp blue sky.  I saw colors everywhere through a chain link fence and got 

COMMISSION: "Men in Vogue" was a piece I created for an elegant couple who was finishing renovations on thier townhouse.  One gentleman, an executive with Neiman Marcus, his partner, a consultant for Coca-Cola.  

They have exquisite taste in clothing, a love of global travelling and an appreciation for fine wine and food.

So I needed to create something out of this world for them.  It was a collabor

COMMISSION: "The Rivers of El Dorado", Private Collection at The Residences at St Regis, Buckhead, Atlanta

COLLECTION: "April 1962" 60" x 60" Acrylic, Oil, 24k Gold Leaf. Gracing the cover of multiple magazines in the 60's was model, Ivy Nicholson. As one of Warhol's muses I found her beauty riveting.  I had to create something to honor my mom's love of 60's fashion.

I painted the Halston hat with an abundance of flowers, added heavy 60's lashes. A tiny butterfly rests on one of the hydrangeas.

My Vogue 

AN IDEA: After a summer night on a dear friend's yacht watching the sunset over downtown Manhattan, I got inspired.

The next morning I started these and painted day and night until they were finished.  The navy blue and white decor on the yacht next to the stained teak of the decks, a touch of gray skies after a peach sunset ... and they came together.

"Yachting Life" was shared with a former client

COLLECTION: Part of a petite collection of 9, this piece is now at home in Los Angeles.  These 9" x 12" pieces were perfect as gifts, as bookself decor or as a grouping.

I named these after silly one liners in romance novels from the 1970's.  Just something cheeky and playful.
